A 26-year old has been arrested due to the fact he is the main suspect in the murder of the 21-year old molecular medicine student Hester Stewart. Currently the results of the toxicity test are expected to provide an outcome. Hester Stewart was possibly slipped a substance of SBL without noticing the fact.
Whether he is to blame or not, Hester's mother wants a permanent ban on the drug which is currently legal in Britain. She hopes to find support with Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who is sent a letter about the subject. The Home Office confirmed there were growing concerns about the increasing use of these drugs.

This is a problem which has a Dutch taste to it. In Holland the same discussion is going on about the mushroom. My view on the case is that it should not be banned. A ban fuels a criminal market who will sell it anyway. It is always improper use which leads to injury or even death, but because since alcoholic beverages are accepted, it would be hypocrite to ban these drugs.
Do not get me wrong, I am not a flaming addict. I have never used drugs and I am not planning to. This is just my opinion in a nutshell.
