Swine Flu Demands First Scottish Life After Over 500 Scots Have Been Contaminated

The number of Scots suffering from the Swine flu has passed the border of 500, leaving out 351 possible cases which are diagnosed at the time. The victim who died from the effects of the disease was a 38-year old woman from Glasgow. Last Sunday the flu became fatal to her, making her the first death in Europe from the effects of Swine Flu.

However the numbers are rising every day in Scotland, Health Nicola Sturgeon stated there is no need to be afraid. By taking safety measures like washing your hands and using tissues after sneezing or coughing, the risk will be minimized. Easy hygienic procedures which could prove valuable when applied on a large scale.

A lot about the Swine Flu is unclear. It is obvious to me that it is increasingly problematic to the citizens throughout all countries. A real fit cure has not been found, a medicine that diminishes the impact of the disease is available. I think people are ought to go to the GP themselves if they think that something is wrong.

I also think that the care in Europe is of such an high level that an estimated 99,9 percent will survive the disease. Question is if the virus will survive the summer, because it does not like dry and warm periods.
